Zokun, Femi, Serene, Vreal, Illiam, and Zarembe gathered with Elidyr to receive a briefing on the expedition. Recently, associates had discovered the location of a biloko encampment, which was a two-day journey from Onadbyr. Biloko are carnivorous creatures that feed on humanoid flesh and have been responsible for several deaths of local hunters. Our mission was to locate the camp and kill every biloko there, including men, women, and children, to ensure they couldn&#039;t threaten Onadbyr any longer. Although the task was morally ambiguous, we agreed to carry it out after a brief discussion of ethics.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
We traveled without incident for two days until we arrived at the biloko camp. As we approached, Vreal gave Zarembe his backup shortbow since Zarembe didn&#039;t have a good ranged option. We then quietly moved through a stream and hid behind some bushes, but Serene and Vreal nearly triggered wire traps that were attached to bells. Had they tripped the traps, the entire camp would have been alerted to our presence. Fortunately, they managed to avoid the traps and signaled the rest of us to be cautious. We counted at least 15 biloko in the camp from the viewpoint we had, and decided to flank around and isolate a group on the west side.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
We engaged the group and quickly dispatched the first four biloko with a flurry of bombs, arrows, bullets, spells, and polearms. However, at least six more biloko soon emerged from different parts of the camp, some of them surrounding Bakus and Vreal. Illiam enhanced Serene&#039;s polearm with a magic weapon spell, and Serene used it to take down several biloko. Vreal delivered bombs to the center of a large group of biloko, Femi cast a powerful Feral Shades spell that sent a swarm of negative energy rats at a huge group of biloko, Zarembe flanked and spanked a couple of biloko with his rapier, and Zokun used his firearms skills to headshot a few biloko from afar. We managed to defeat the biloko, but not without sustaining injuries. Vreal used his supply of healing potions to cover the worst of the party&#039;s wounds.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
We then moved to the other side of the camp and encountered another large group of at least 10 biloko. In a harrowing battle, we managed to dispatch them, but not without Vreal and Bakus sustaining significant injuries. Vreal passed out the last of his healing potions to help some of the injured, but some party members were still not in the best condition to fight.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
We proceeded to the north and final section of the encampment to pursue the last biloko. They dropped their weapons and stepped back toward a cave, speaking something in Sylvan. Femi translated for us and revealed that they were pleading with us not to harm them, claiming they were protecting Barbazu, which some party members recognized as the name of a type of devil. We decided to kill the last biloko and investigate the cave.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
As we approached the cave, we encountered a magical darkness that blocked the entrance. A voice reached out to us telepathically, ordering us to open the cave entrance. We deduced that this voice belonged to the trapped Barbazu devil and that it was too dangerous to leave it unattended. We decided to engage in combat but needed time to recover our spells and heal our injuries.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
After resting, we opened the cave (by placing one hand on each side of the cave entrance) and engaging in a short, but brutal combat with the barbazu devil. Serene was nearly killed by a nasty strike of its glaive. But the party was able to take it down together very quickly. We found some useful items in the cave that we distributed amongst ourselves, then we looked around to make sure all of the biloko were eliminated before heading back to Onadbyr and collecting our payment from Elidyr.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>

Weeks went by without finding work, and before he knew it months had passed. He would occasionally perform on the streets to earn enough copper for a meal. He would break into cellars or spare bedrooms some nights to sleep in more comfort than the streets. He missed his troupe, and began to lose motivation and purpose.&lt;br /&gt;
Z traveled to nearby Rommack as a last ditch effort to find work. Unfortunately, he had similar luck in Rommack and was unable to make ends meet, resorting to petty thievery and barely managing to find shelter. However, he did meet someone, an elderly human woman. She was on her way home from the market with a bag of groceries and Z was following her in hopes of swiping a small meal from atop her bags of food. As he approached to make his move, she began to stumble. Without hesitation, Z dashed forward to catch her, preventing a possible injury. She introduced herself as Alice, and invited Z for a cup of tea. She made him a lunch that he scarfed down as politely as possible, and they became friends. Z confided in Alice and described his misfortune these past few months. She insisted he stay in her spare bedroom until he could get on his feet and kept him fed. They became good friends over the following few weeks, and Z finally regained some confidence and motivation. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Just as things were looking up for Z, the town of Rommack was attacked by Gnolls! Z woke up to the sound of Alice screaming from outside the house. He grabbed his rapier and rushed outside to find Alice dead, being consumed by a gnoll. Z was shocked, but reacted quickly and struck the gnoll. It fought back and took a bit of flesh from Z before Z was able to defeat it. Z immediately ran over to Alice to see if there was anything he could do, but it was obvious she was gone.&lt;br /&gt;
He cried. But before he could even begin to process his emotions, two more gnolls came from around the corner and charged at him. He was hit before he could react, pinned against the wall, struggling to escape. Suddenly, help came. The gnolls were stabbed through their abdomens and slain as two brave defenders of the town saved Z’s life. Z recognized them, not by name, but he had seen them in Onadbyr. They were associates of the Round Table! Adventurers who protect the city, and apparently the nearby locale. Before he could thank them, they were gone, yelling something about reaching the siege wall.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
When Z saw the Round Table in action, he knew that he had found his true calling. He volunteered to become an associate of the Round Table, eager to use his skills and powers to help protect the city and its people, as they had protected him.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Z’s skill set includes infiltration, distraction, intimidation, and scouting. In battle, he fights confidently with his rapier and Amurrun claw blade while yelling insults at his opponents, hoping to distract them, scare them, or catch them off guard.
