== Log ==
We had been commissioned by the Round Table to hunt down a band of goblins that had been attacking roadside travelers.

To simply deal with them—that was our goal. It didn’t matter how; negotiations could certainly be ''attempted'', but it was universally agreed upon by our group that such things were likely set to fail.

About a day’s walk from Onadbyr, we made our way along the road around where they’d been last spotted. Eventually, Ken found what appeared to be goblin tracks, which we followed as they led us deeper into the woods.

It was not long until we encountered our targets. Appearing from the forest was a party of goblins, preparing to attack us, but they were swiftly dealt with before much of a fight could be put up.

We chased the last remaining enemy back to the encampment, where we soon engaged the rest of the goblin group. Trapper tased his foes with conductive knuckle dusters, courtesy of Yod, as Ken and I swept through and cleared the camp. I almost feel bad for them—almost. They did this to themselves, though.

Once every goblin had been throughly dealt with, we scanned the rest of the camp for items of note, but didn’t find much of anything. There were various gemstones hoarded away that we claimed as our respective prizes, but beyond that, nothing was worth saving.

To prevent any other goblins or nasty little creatures from making their home in the now-vacant camp, we decided to burn it down. Yod did the honors by casting a flame aloft, as the rest of us watched from a safe distance away.

Having settled everything, we made our way back to Onadbyr to report our success and collect our payment.

== Log ==

The party met at Onadbyr and after receiving the mission and making basic preparations they immediately set out. The Ogre Spider is in a marked cave in a hilly area that we were able to find easily. The entrance to the cave was dark and narrow but the Kubo provided light to the party and after checking each tunnel passage they quickly cleared out a set of glowing beetles that went down relatively quickly.

The party then faced swarms of small spiders that were harder to deal with but after expertly dodging their attacks the party squashed them underfoot. Trapper then started looking for traces of the Ogre Spider and found a very deep pit filled with spider webs. Kubo tossed a light infused stone down the pit so the party could see the bottom but the party did not see anything else at the bottom of the pit.

The party then proceeded to fight some more swarms of spiders and light beetles, followed by some giant cockroaches. After exploring various tunnels and just finding more smaller bugs the party decided to go down the pit they had found before, using ropes to easily scale down the walls. At the bottom, they saw some mysterious writing floating in the air they did not understand but then as they continued to search they were ambushed by the Ogre Spider and its minions. Trapper was swarmed by spiders and went down but Ken was able to heal him, then the Ogre spider pounced on Ken with a devastating bite and took him down. Anran took advantage of its distraction to crush it from behind after which the party finished off the final minion and was able to recover.

			This one was... intense. A close one to be sure. Actually, not even that generous. I can't lie, I've had to take some time to collect myself before retelling this story in my journal.<br>

			The associates chosen were Raiya and Egg, Hogo, Crows, Theo, Sanaa, and myself. We were summoned to head back to the old country and help clear out a temple of oni influence then afterward, close it off so it is not disturbed afterward. We gathered, went through the portal, and began our journey to the temple. TYhe trip itself was uneventful which I can't say for the what comes later, but eventually we arrived at the temple. Its was an ancient building in rough shape. Rubble, overgrowth, but through it all was a pristine fountain that seemed to double as the main shrine of the kami worshiped here. Thefirst thing that caught our eyes was an ornate silver wakizashi. Now I'm no blacksmith but even I could tell that the quality of that blade was unmatched. I considered borrowing it for our mission but our guide advised against it.<br>

			As we inspected the temple, Hogo noticed the fiends desecrating the temple, and with them, a massive oni. Hogo, being part oni decided to try and reason with the invaders. It did not work. The fight began, and while I could sit here and recount every minute detail of the encounter, frankly, that stuff was to stressing to think about in that much detail again so for I will just go over the important details. There were two hell hounds, that big oni, and two freaky fiends that liked inflicting pain on themselves and others. Since Hogo opened with trying to talk to the enemies, he unfortunately became their main focus. And unfortunate it was because Hogo took multiple heavy hits that nearly killed him. Luckily, his wife Sanaa, Crows, and I had healing on hand. The monsters were also just brutal in general. The biggest challenge was definitely the two fiends. They both shared a regeneration ability, even after death. Sanaa determined that holy or silver were their weaknesses. With that, I decided to run and take the wakizashi from before, much to the guides dismay. A curse tried to befall me but it was not the time for concerns, we needed silver and it was the only reliable means of silver based attacks. I grabbed the weapon and ran back.<br>

			Raiya took the dagger in hand and the first fiend stayed down. I struck the second and raiya finished that one off as well. All that was left was the oni. Egg had taken a lot of hits and was bleeding out. So I used my last heal to save them. I couldn't bear the idea of Raiya losing their closest friend, so it seemed like the appropriate choice.The oni, having thoruoghly beaten Hogo to near death, made its way toward Raiya. She also took a violent strike. Crows was next, and they drove the oni away from Raiya, to which I then followed up with some needle darts to distract it more. The moment had arrive, I faced the oni, prepared to die with a hero's heart and will. We both wound up our attacks until suddenly, to shots struck and killed the beast. I could tell from the style of the arrows that these came from a samurai's longbow.<br>

			After I caught my breath, I looked and saw a golden samurai spirit warrior. It didn't take long for me to realize that was the kami/spirit of the temple. It also wasn't hard to come to the conclusion that he was not happy. Looks like my taking of the weapon counted as desecration most foul. I had to be quick, and try to appeal to the kami's sense of mercy. I quickly grabbed and cleaned the sacred item and did something I hadn't in a while. Offered an apology for my actions. Unfortunately, the kami was not please enough and he got into the position of a ritual execution. While I was terrified, I chose to face my death with pride. In my heart I know I did the right thing, and I did not regret it. Besides, as elder Hanuman always said, "You may one day die, but Stone-Fist lives forever."<br>

			It was then that Crows, began to speak on my behalf. The samurai heard them out and in the meantime I overheard that Raiya had tragically died. I was definitely shaken by this news but I couldn't waver in my resolve, not yet at least. I listened to the kami and to say they sounded exhausted. Given the state of our surroundings and why we were here, I guess I could understand. Eventually, he gave me a chance to speak for myself. I told him to please consider that the dagger was used by a noble warrior that sacrificed herself purging fiends from his sanctum, and that perhaps they could see that enough blood had been spilled this day. Despite all the odds, the spirit was convinced. As thanks I left the spirit an offering of peaches, hoping they would ease his burden for a bit.<br>

			As for Raiya, all hoped seemed loss, when suddenly Sanaa spoke up of a scroll of resurrection. We used it and Raiya was brought back to the world of the living. I need to make a note of offering Sanaa some kind of appreciation for such an act of selflessness. She insisted on receiving no reward but I think I'll leave some peaches on hers and Hogo's door, but I digress. We closed off the path and received our rewards from the local woodland sprites. I myself got a strange prayer rope. Hopefully it will come in handy. After all was said and done, we finally returned home. While the adventure ended on a positive note, I will remember the dangers I faced this day. Might have to withhold this one from Sai though. We'll see.

The associates are contracted to explore the workshop of the mad wizard, Sane Sorik, looking for useful items or blueprints for their client.

== Log ==

The party arrived at the meeting place and Stiltmean, they were told the lab was explored previously by associates but it rearranges itself each time they visit it and is guarded by golems. The party exchanged notes on various spells and such on the multi day trip to the lab. The party then arrives at a door frame that is between two trees. Cassandra had a thrall test the door and it was instantly transported somewhere else so after some deliberation the party went through.

The party was transported to a bar filled with large people and furniture although they were all unmoving. Theodore notices that there are multitools under each table in the bar, Kora noticed there seems to be no doors leaving the bar. Theodore attempts to take one of the multitools from a table but as he does, all the tables transform into constructs and attack the party. The constructs attacked by trying to grab party members with straps while using saw-blades to try and amputate their limbs.

Gin manages to determine that these constructs are actually haunted and are vulnerable to vitality damage, Cassandra took advantage of this fact by using their necrotic spell to hit the constructs in their weakness. The tables were also not intelligent so throwing disposable thralls at them was an effective way to delaying them. The party struggled for a time with the tables constantly grabbing them but were eventually able to overcome them.

The party found a trapdoor on the floor of the tavern which lead to a set of sewers, which had some suspicious rippling water that the party avoided. There were also some mushrooms which looked to be fake and purposely placed. There was some floating text in the air that after deciphering said "Find my three keys" and behind an illusionary door there was more text saying "put them in order" with 3 empty slots beneath it.

The party then examined the fake mushrooms, discovering they are traps that exploded any thralls that approached them. The party spotted a key among the mushrooms and Gin managed to use telekinetic hand to grab the key with only slight mental damage taken by the party from the traps. The party then checked the swirling water which had a vortex trap but gin also managed to get the key with telekinetic hand with the assistance of the party.

The party went after the third key but were trapped in a tunnel with a trap that shot constant waves of water at the party while they struggled to get to the key that was underwater. Gin managed to snag the key with a spell and Hilda smashed the rune maintaining the trap which deactivated it. The party then recovered and put the keys in the holes randomly because they could not figure out the order. It worked as the order of keys did not actually matter.

Entering the final room, they found a golem workshop and an office where a projection of Sane Sorik appeared before them and told them there were multiple workshops on various planes. He also asked the party for feedback on what they went through. He then handed them some gold as a reward and a number of magic items and blueprints for some rare vehicles.

	Kubo used detect magic to determine there was no magic present and then Trapper knocked on the door. We were greeted by a tired looking woman who let us in to search for clues. The party checked the room where the gems were kept and did not notice any signs of break in. Kubo hypothesized that it might be an earth elemental that was taking the gems as only the gems were stolen, not the jewelry they were set in. While drinking tea, Kubo learns there is a basement and it is not entirely covered with flooring. The group investigates and finds tiny foot prints and a small hole. Hilda used her earth abilities to try and widen the tunnel so we could try and use it with Wuyang Ye assisting~~. But~~ the tunnel was too deep for them to dig up. Some guards dropped off some gems for the group to use as bait and the party looked for an abandoned house to set up a trap for the thief. ~~The~~ went to a house that had a large underground area under it.
