== Log ==
We had a fun trip out of town! Despite the utter darkness it was very enlightening. Associates (including Vitriol and Myself) gathered at the Onsen at the request of a kindly lady named [[Absinthe]]. She had requested that we make a trade at the Spirit Bottle on her behalf. We were to bring three vials (kept chilled until delivered) to Lady Sielu the proprietor of the Spirit Bottle in exchange for Bottled Mischief, Thaumic Slime, a Cinderpearl, and a Timeless Dowsing Snail. We set out as directed towards a willow tree with three distinct bumps then turned left, traveling onward until we found the trail of magical lanterns that led to the cave where we could reportedly find the Spirit Bottle. Inside we were confronted by a terrible darkness... an advanced darkness one might say. We were only barely guided through by Vitriol's keen nose. Inside the establishment was no brighter I'm afraid and we were guided only by sound. We did meet some very inviting undead at one table engaged in an argument over scroll material. I got to try a drink called "gore", it was very...interesting! (Vitriol had to finish it for me though). To settle said argument the one man wanted to buy some of our skin off us. As much as I would love such a wicked scar to adorn my arm, I'm not sure I have the constitution to be flayed! Kagari on the other hand was eager enough to make the transaction and so she did, falling unconscious in the process and gaining new bamboo skin! (Consequently this is how we discovered Kagari was not the Dwarf she appeared to be but a Kitsune!) Meanwhile Kasumi made the trade. Lady Sielu tried to pull a fast one by claiming we were a vial short (but Kasumi is quite sharp-witted). As Lady Sielu went to retrieve the items she made it abundantly clear NOT to go in the backroom and steal eight magic bottles. This was especially important as the arcane protections were NOT functioning. She also left the KEYS with Kasumi until her return... but Kasumi instead locked the door while she was gone to catch her in a lie. When Lady Sielu returned there was some problems with containing the items: the Cinderpool burned through any container, the slime needed a container, and the snail well... it seemed the snail was more of a curse that followed one endlessly ultimately killing the cursed at a touch. The curse had been on a little yeti boy and Kasumi wasn't keen on taking it. Instead, I unwittingly became the new bearer of the curse. On our way out, the snail nearly got me. It appeared to be everywhere at once! (Even whispering commands into Kasumi's ear...) We had a frightful time getting home with the snail seemingly everywhere. When we arrived back at the Onsen Absinthe discovered that the bottle mischief was to blame for the illusory snails and the snail curse was transferred to her. Having successfully delivered all the items we were rewarded justly. Overall, what a fun trip!
