Right, so, after the battle in the throne room, we gathered up to figure out what to do with the city from there. Lictor Zeal has plans to consecrate the throne room in the name of Iomidae, however we need Grist for that, so we wait until after he's brought Mantella's body to Orion to make sure he comes back to life. As much of a hard time as he's given me while I've known him, I'd miss him if he didn't return. The city just wouldn't be the same without him. Anyways, Kirrily, the remaining Bright-Eyed siblings, Cyrus, Clam, and Vara return to Onadbyr as well. They don't really want to stick around much longer, and Cyrus looks particularly shell-shocked. I don't know what happened in that throne room, but whatever it was, it must've been rough. That just left Lictors Zeal and Mutt, Aster, Sheeri, Kali, myself, and Shadefrost behind, though I could barely even tell Shadefrost was there. Apparently she was foraging or something? I'd be surprised if there even was any food to find around here. Anyways, Aster and the Lictors focused on clearing out the remaining other undead in the city while Kali, Sheeri, Siltmean and I took this time to save everyone who was trapped in the crystals. I'll save you the gory details, but everyone was in a terrible state, all having been gathered up from various places around Kelek, almost as if the creatures that did this were collecting them. They'd all been in these crystals for various amounts of time, some were just captured while others were in there for the span of several apocalypses. They were all very confused to see us, but with a combination of healing magic, Siltmean's tech, and Sheeri's skill with medicine, we were able to keep everyone alive. It's going to take a long time for all of them to recover mentally, and some of them have injuries that they may never recover from, but at least they're all alive. By the time we finished with them, Grist had returned. Everyone save for Grist, Lictor Zeal, Kali, and myself returned to the city while Grist and Lictor Zeal consecrated the throne room, and Kali built an altar to Iomidae. With the city proper freed and cleansed, all that's left is for me to return home, to the Grove of the Willow, to restore the land. Although we were only in the city for 6 days, it felt like we were there for four months, and I've longed to see this day for decades longer than that. I'm just glad to finally see this day come, and everyone who played a part in getting us to this point has my deepest and most sincere thanks. I don't know what I'd do without y'all.
