== Log ==
Short and easy mission, just how I like them. Bit of physical labour, sure, but certainly better paid than that stuff usually is.

The higher ups weren't quite sure what to make of [[No Man Knows | that expedition that never happened]], so they sent us to ask Gnome Ann about it. Not sure why they sent so many of us just for talking. Fine with me though, I prefer to just listen and watch anyway.

Argon suggested to be subtle about it. Just talk with her and see what she knows without directly asking. Apparently he and Karage are quite good at that, so the rest of us agreed. Meant we needed a reason why we went out there, of course, so we told Ann the council was interested in her garden and the stuff she grows there.

That got her talking about it well enough. Too well for my taste. She also asked us to help out while we were there, which was a nice enough distraction. Also, she gave us some of her weird potions for that.

Took a while to get her talking about anything but herbs and grasses, but someone eventually managed to steer the topic to what we wanted to know. She noticed, I think. Definitely a sly one. But she played along anyway, point in her favour. Then again, Gnomes sure love their games, so who knows what her plan is there. Best I can tell she doesn't know everything either, but more than she told us.

Anyway, she brought up some events that may be related. I made separate notes for those, for now just to show the council. I'll include them later if they approve, but we probably should investigate them first.
