	We were hired to go capture an individual who was performing criminal acts on the nearby roads, a herpetologist who went rogue and stole a powerful artifact known as the Archdruid's Amplifier of Abundant Animals. Mantella and Pomba were very strongly insisting that it was not Sahona who did this, even though Sahona would never do something like this. Instead we heard it was an individual by the name of Conservationist Clyde who had problems with how the Round Table was running Onadbyr. We heard that this was partly in response to associates killing an important alligator by the name of Chompy, the events of which are included in a log that I will attach [[Lucky needs YOUR help\|here]]. The section about the killer vampire also concerns me, and I will look into it when I have the time. Anyways, we learned of this from his former assistant, Herpetologist Heather. She wanted us to bring him back alive, but due to later events, this would not be possible. Upon asking Historian Harry more about the Amplifier, we learned that it takes the form of an ivory horn that summons wild animals when blown. It was with this information that I thought of making more noise to drown out the horn. We headed out to the marsh where the Mauler was based, and found a caravan that had been ransacked. Upon investigation, we were attacked by a swarm of ants, and a pair of owlbears, which Mantella and a few other associates were arguing about them being real. We made short work of them, and found the Mangler in a cave. He changed his name to the Menagerie Mangler after Mantella kept calling him that, he really liked how it sounded. He gave us a list of demands to dissolve the round table, which I promptly ripped up. Those kinds of manifestos have no place in our fair city. He called in some snakes to attack us, and although he went down relatively quickly, the snakes did not go down without a fight. Unfortunately, one of them delivered some grievous wounds to poor Boophis, and he lost his life in battle. May he rest in peace. We did take down the snakes after, but at what cost? We pooled some of the reward money together to fund his resurrection, I just hope Satori will be able to deliver on this. It would be a shame to separate the Bright-Eyed quintuplets.
