More Fey nonsense, this time outside of Velborough. Apparently Sade had witnessed the first wave last year, so I decided to set up some Fey Abeyance. Kali was kind enough to help, and did great while Sade just... Stared into nothing.

Though after a closer look, it doesn't ''seem'' to be nothing. Especially when it threw a deepforest scout head at us. Poor man's been missing for days, we can assume that a few of the similar cases met the same fate...

A giant bark-tree-person was tryna jump Sade, it was... Weird. Long, lanky limbs coated in bark and moss, didn't really do much against Sade at the front, though.
Kali's shot nailed it down, and we took time to examine the creature that we had felled. Sade saw it was carrying an auspicious scepter.

Then the rest of the creatures came out to play. A creature with an uncomfortably familiar scythe, and we then learned what 'dogs' that Sade was talking about when they made us feel ''very'' unlucky.

As I entered a daydream trance, I heard... A weird voice, plotting things in the distance. But it faded when I came-to, it might've been an emotionally draining dream.
