The Lord of Carnage (L.O.C.), one of the Associates of the Round Table, is an Automaton powered by the C.Core, a cursed artifact said to contain a nearly fist sized shard of divinity of Groetus. This power was once used to stop a cataclysm, and later to create one. The core was then lost for years. The core was found by the Keepers, who tried to use it to power Voml Deepmine, a dwarven miner that was one of the founding members of Clan Ashenforge. The core was later found inside Voml's body by the clan, and taken to Arrepo Manufacturing. There the core was placed into the Modular Growth Chassis, which can control the power of the C.Core by expending it in the form of magical armaments. L.O.C. then returned to Onadbyr with the associates on the journey, where they took up where Voml left off.
