We returned to the barrow where Collector Jericho led us last month. Inside, we found three blobs at the bottom in place of the previous one. They were easily destroyed, but at the cost of all the ammunition I had prepared.

Behind the door at the bottom, we explored a series of passages. At first, we found two sets of two pedestals containing gems that glowed when touched. There was no effect when we touched all four of them. We also discovered a wall of slime barring a passage and navigated around it.

In the final chamber were another four pedestals containing gems, for a total of eight. In the centre of it all was a vat of slime with eight coloured panels. We discovered this to be a puzzle, solved by lightning the pedestals in the same sequence as they lit up on the vat's panels.

While solving the puzzle, we fought more slimes that dropped down. At one point, a ooze, covered in the shapes of faces, emerged from the wall and partially engulfed me, however we persisted in completing the puzzle, and I escaped just before all the slimes were suddenly drawn back into the vat.

All the slimes were absorbed into the vat as a huge humanoid ooze emerged in a very hungry state. Most of our attacks proved ineffective, and Damian was held captive inside it for a time, but he also made a narrow escape. We overcame it with sheer volume of fire, and healing provided by Luna. Ultimately, one of Luna's spell caused the creature to collapse from dizziness.
