We get hired to investigate the wine at some building called a theater. There's a plant who has a law degree, a smart looking gnome, a tiny dragon, and a guy with tentacles who calls himself an octopus. We get led to the place by a stable? But he isn't on a horse. Apparently the octopus guy has two tongues. Does that mean he tastes things twice? Anyways, we can't find anything wrong with the bottles, so we go to check the octopus guy and the tiny dragon. The octopus has opened a spigot and is feeding wine directly to the kobold. It looks like he's drowning! Some wine got on the floor, so I lick it up from the ground with my one tongue. It tastes really good! The wine isn't poisoned according to the tiny dragon. According to the smart gnome, the wine I was drinking tasted like the floor. Maybe if it wasn't on the floor, people wouldn't have thought it tasted sour! Apparently, the labels were swapped! We hear something break. Did I do that? The octopus thinks he heard the thing break outside, but I wasn't outside. We head towards the source of the sound, and we find a guy who's bleeding! Turns out I didn't do that! He's dead, we can't save him. There's a bit of glass in his neck, that looks like it hurt! The guards show up, and they try and arrest us! The plant lawyer tells them that he's a lawyer and none of us could have done it, but they won't listen to us! I follow the lawyer and octopus' examples, and start kneeling on the ground. Is this normal around guards? They think I did it because I was looking through his pockets. Apparently the more I talk, the more it looks like I did it, so I shut up. Is this normal around guards? They think I did it because I was looking through his pockets. Apparently the more I talk, the more it looks like I did it, so I shut up. The boss lady leads me into another room and tells me to talk, so I tell her that (the previous few paragraphs are repeated several times across the log). Eventually, the guards show up with the horse guy again! He tells the guards he told us to come here. He convinces the guards to leave, and I can talk again! I get confused and think we were solving the murder, when we were still focusing on the wine. The plant guy thinks of having us interrogate different suspects for the wine thing. He brings the dragon and I to work with us, because I helped solve a murder, and the tiny dragon has a law degree as well! We take an older looking guy with a moustache. Apparently his name is Plum. He suspects that some guy named Gerry has been switching the wines, but I think he just doesn't like him. I think he might be our guy, he seems to know too much. The plant guy notices that the short one has some extra labels that she's hiding. I think she might be our guy. Apparently both of them were our guy! They were working together to switch the labels! And the third person who wasn't Gerry also bought the bottles! Case solved! The octopus comes back and tells us we're needed for the murder! Apparently the guy the dead guy was teaching was being possessed by a ghost, and we have to go on stage to catch him! We have to pretend to be part of the show, so I get to be a dragon! We knock out the villain, and a ghost pops out! We can barely hit it, so I take the plant guy's advice of dropping the stage light on it, and it worked! The plant guy said something about the villain getting piped, and it got really awkward.
