Inside the Dollhouse, dozens over dozens of dolls of various designs are showcased neatly along the walls. They range from resembling plushies to elaborately painted showpieces, the latter category culminating in a slightly larger doll with gold threads in its crimson dress shimmering in the light of the oil lamps next to it and a face that would almost be lifelike if it wasn't for the dead, glassy eyes. Placed right above Taso's workspace opposite the entrance, it looks down on all who enter.
 
There is only one shelf not stacked with dolls, instead featuring a selection of painted wooden blocks, balls, pinwheels, and other toys. A handful of small lamps make it stand out in the otherwise dimly lit workshop, most of the lights more used to emphasize specific dolls Taso is especially proud of, rather than providing general illumination.
Shadows of dolls seemingly chase each other across the floor as they move in the flicker of the lights. Among them the pitch-black shadow of Taso moves around, spreading out when no one else is there, and moving through the corners and edges when avoiding visitors.
