Associates hunt down some demons.
Log
Reports of fiends in the area naturally piqued my interest, and I have consequently taken on the task of recording the events of the mission. The party consisted of myself, a chaotic gnome who calls herself Calamity, a leshy by the name of Swaying Petals, and a new associate named Kaina. Our quest giver was an automaton named “MOCK”, who is evidently associated with a faction known as the Holdfasts. It sent us on our way, in the direction of a peak in fiend activity, with the task of eradicating any we find.
Before we encounter any living fiends, we find an Old Country woman surrounded by those she has slain. Demons, by the looks of them, but not particularly powerful ones. The woman introduces herself as Tsuna and requests our help clearing out an abbey that has been overrun with them. We agree. After all, there is nothing more loathsome than a demon.
Just before we arrive, Tsuna leaves to flank from the back. No bother. We enter the grounds of the abbey and encounter a few swarms of vescivors and their mother. They were disposed of.
Though we saw no enemies, Calamity elected to cast Fireball inside the abbey. A bizarre choice, which stirred a large, unholy sludge-like ooze we later discovered was called a Sin Mold. Not of the Outer Rifts, but a result of fiendish corruption on the wilds of the material plane. It had an ability to engulf us in its body, which proved quite troublesome. Still, when we were a moment from slaying it, Tsuna returned and made the final blow.
The abbey was cleared, and Tsuna returned to Onadbyr with us, evidently to train others the art of slaying demons.
