Finally all the oozes coalesced towards the vat including a wall of slime that blocked our passage. Out of the vat emerged a giant humanoid ooze that exclaimed how tasty we look, including our skin, and how he wanted to put us inside his body. We head the two days travel to the previous chamber in search of amoeba and potential cultists. The previous runic scriptures remain on the stonework and three amoebas sit on the bottom. With Aleth's gun we pot-shot them to death and learn some valuable information in the process:
- They are blind and deaf
- They have a weakness to slashing weapons
- They are very slow
We dispatch them and continue on. The next room is rank and filled with a disgusting must that "smells like a middle school locker room." On the center pedestal are four pillars with two of them containing colored gems. Green and Purple. The path splits to the left, a path partially eaten, and to the right seemingly carved by people long ago. We head left, descend a small drop. The pathways wrap into each other where we find two more pillars; Blue and Black. The final room is through either a descent to the left or right or through a slime coated passageway down the center. We elect to leave the slime wall alone. The final room contains two coffins and four pillars clockwise from the top right: Yellow, White, Red, and Orange.
In a vat of greenish glue is a fermented form of a humanoid. His name is Simon. Along the floor we see 8 small gems in little spots. We're playing Simon Says. The goal? Touch the pillars in the order that they flash all the while surviving amoebas that ooze out of the walls. The challenge? We can't be in sight of all the pillars at once - we have to do a scary thing known as communication. And we do so!
