Cozin's Mission Log
The party returns 1 day after the events of Melty's Mark Basement The party makes it past the statues and goes past the door Meltly locked, following in a hallway. It opens into a room with jail cells.
Another Laecosidae grabs and copies Vreal. Vreal junior fights and kills it. There is a deep pit, and 2 people and 2 copies of those people trapped in a cell. They call out in a language similar to youtin, but not quite that, and are decently injured. Vreal is somewhat able to communicate, Fen and Sade heal the people, while Sade frees them.
They take their supplies, and convince Vreal to lock up vreal junior. They walk with the party to the room with the guards, but then insist on going north.
The man has a picture of a mountain on his arm, which seems significant. Made the party 3 winter wolf Elixirs, and the woman gave the party an iced key. Getting past the door lowers the area a step in terms of environmental cold. That door opens up to an additional hallway.
At the end of that is 2 doors, one promises immense danger, the other very many mephits. The man utters a name looking at the left door " "
Going to the left, the party seems a ball of energy that is the source of the enmination. There is someone wearing Voml's face and has his weapon and pipe. He wants the key, the party refuses to hand it over, and a fight ensuse.
There are guards controlled by the fake voml, as well as obelisks that target the party. Fen realizes the thing in the middle is some kind of ooze, and has a magical purpose here, and is being held here.
It is a very difficult fight. In the end, the freeded prisoners assist the party in taking out the foes, the Rime knife along with a Sittacto Chunk is thrown to the ooze which stabilizes it along with the 1 reaming obelisk. It is a portal to" ". The former prisoners step in (which is uncomfortable), but they dissapear successful.
Upon Leaving, all of the Laiecodse have melted, as well as all the guards
The fake voml was a dandasucae, a lower rung rakshasha. They are constantly hungry, known forces for hell. Strongly implies that it was under orders, but they often operate alone. They are weak too good, no easy ways of identification outside of withholding food. A Maragha are often the deities whom the raksha worship, and they are near deities (not proper gods).
