Today we're summoning a Devil to figure out what's wrong with Peter. Allllll the way at Desperate Hope! First we gotta bring Peter, of course, 'cause he's living under the city to keep people safe.
And then we gotta go like, a hour or two out from Desperate Hope, 'cause Mister Lictor Zeal doesn't want Devils runnin' amok in his home. We get it, it's fair.
Well, Mister Lictor Zeal said we needed some of Peter's blood, which meant another round with those CaveMeanies. Didn't take long to take 'em out, but they took down Candylady again... Rude.

Then we summoned a Contract Devil! I can spell that one easy. She was much nicer, it kinda made me wanna have a tea party with her but everyone said that was a bad idea.
Anyway Peter asked to see his contract, but she said no? He's somehow not the subject of the contract OR the signer, which... Feels weird. Cause he seems like the subject. Turns out, it's by association due to the fact that it's a progeny issue. But then Candylady said a bunch of legal words, and then Anima said more legal words, and it seemed like it worked?
We're getting answers! Apparently the contract is tied to a piece of Peter's soul that isn't *his* soul. That's what the snake was editing! Making that one piece of soul over and over! The benefit of the contract was I guess eternal torment of the Pasi family?
Payment is eternal servitude of the Enru family, which.. Dunno who they are. Must be serving the Queen lady of the Furies, like that first worshipper ever. And then there's TWO forms of how the contract is fucked. If the servitude is broken, or if the... Eternal Wrong is made right, the contract breaks. Wonder what that is..?
Our next step forward is to try to detain the hanger-on spirit, but I'm sure we'll come up with a safe way for Peter to continue living about it!
