Characteristics

Accompanied by a clanging of metal as it slowly crawls through a battlefield, the fully armored Mutt forgoes words to strike fear into those who would escape their oaths. Dragging behind it is a boulder sized slab of metal attached to an abnormally heavy chain, a tool commonly used to demolish walls and break sieges, but in this dog's hands a savage and precise instrument of blunt force. Adorning the flat sides of the heavy block are the symbols of the dwarven god Kols, the Oathkeeper, and in his name did this Mutt take its oaths, chainbound to the legitimate laws of the land and willing to bind and crush those who would cheat, lie, and act in deeds of chaos and evil.

Rarely in the city or around campsites, most often found skittering to grab meals for herself, is another who responds to being called Mutt. She's a young girl of few words, and those she does utter are fractured and uneasy, split out of necessity in common and dwarvish. Her movements are clumsy, steps are hard on the flats of her feet, and posture low as if desperate to not poke her head out in a crowd. If cornered or singled out, the girl avoids eye contact, never attempting to flee conversation but rarely responding with more than motions, grunts, and single words. Mutt outside of her armor is the same person she is on the battlefield, but it is apparent she was taught or given a chance to experience anything more than how to handle herself weighed down by armor with a weapon in her hands.
