Voml Deepmine is one of the many dwarves that now make Odanbyr their home. He arrived alongside Bright Eyes and the rest of Clan Ashenforge several weeks ago. He is usually quiet, but if you speak with him for any length of time you learn that he has a fatalistic, and disturbing sense of humor. He prefers the dark, and tends to sleep in the Ashenforge guild hall cellar during the day. He carries several picks into combat, using what he learned as a miner to kill his enemies with swift, brutal strikes. He refuses to spar with anyone, believing that fights should only be to the death.

Before he joined up with the Ashenforge clan, he was a slave miner for the Keepers, a group of xenophobic dwarves who were set on creating super soldiers. Voml never found out as to what end. He worked day and night in the tunnels below and around the underground city, expanding the city that had survived the last calamity. Who knows what horrors he witnessed in that dark, and one can only guess what goes on in the mind behind those eyes that never seem to blink.
