Location: Sane Sorik Library, Commissioner: Kenneth Low, Objectives: Find a book in a library
Summary:
Kenneth always wondered where the "Sane Sorik Library" name written upon some of his late father's books came from. The library was recently discovered by some explorers deep in the woods who are fairly certain it wasn't there last time they passed through. Go there and find the fabled sequel to a book his father owned, if the books within are still in surviving order.
Kenneth Low hired to find a book called “The Hero Elf and the Dragon Lord.” It's in an old abandoned library in the woods.
We traveled to the library and Evergreen and Chrys wouldn’t shut up the whole time. Finally got there and went inside. There was a blue haired lady that said we needed a library card to help us. She wouldn’t accept our money, but told us we could have a library card if we helped to remove the troublesome minotaurs from the library. She can’t remove them herself.
We spread out looking for minotaurs and the book. I find a minotaur and throw a book towards the golem, knowing thats a definite rule violation. Then I run out yelling “Help! This minotaur is breaking the rules!” But the golem doesn’t see anything and ignores me. So I go back in looking for the minotaur that is now gone. I also don’t know where the rest of my team is.
I start looking for the minotaur and find it pushing past the rest of the team.
I tried asking the minotaur to work with us to find the book but it was very rude and pushed its way past us. After chasing it for awhile I got frustrated and chopped it with my axe. This made the minotaur mad and it turned to attack me. Its axe was bigger and it hurt, but luckily we were in sight of a golem that started chasing the minotaur down as it ran away again.
Eventually we slow the minotaur enough so the golem is able to grab the minotaur and take it out of the library.
We keep looking for the book and Sister Stille finds a book called “The Hero Elf and the Minotaur King.” Close but not quite the book we want.
Evergreen finds another minotaur and we help the golem to catch and bring it out.
We continue our search and Evergreen finds the book we were looking for.
We all get library cards and I check out a book on dwarf history and Amani checks out a book on gadgets.
Meanwhile Chrys walks out and sees the minotaurs outside planning an ambush with some creatures in the trees with bows. We discuss sneaking out but don’t want to leave them to hurt someone else so we attack.
Its a hard fight and Samir and Stupid go down but we manage to defeat the minotaurs and the little tree creatures run away. Luckily Samir and Stupid are OK after some healing.
