World introduction

An apocalypse is coming. No one knows what form it will take. It has taken countless forms in the past. No apocalypse has yet succeeded in total annihilation, but many have come close. Will the next one be the one that succeeds? Perhaps. It’s best not to think about it too much. For now, we have found a safe place to fortify against the unknown.

The city of Onadbyr still stands. It has walls, water, and space to grow food. Everything we could ever hope for. We now occupy the city, slowly rebuilding it to its former strength. Is the city safe? Unlikely, but it’s better than nothing. An apocalypse is coming. We don’t really have the choice of being picky.
