Ok, so, I didn't know that there were other sentinels out there. Apparently Hogo and Sanaa met them before. Their names are Uchara ( the underworld dragon), Rani (the sovereign dragon), Ji-Hun (the swordmaster), and Kyo (the ox). Apparently they knew about us with some divine magic, and then Life Giver and I learned about them because we'd all received a distress call from them. They were rescuing a town about 5 days from the city from some sluaghs. One of them got away, and took Rani's soul with them, and they want us to provide backup for them. We decided to bring Pomba along too for emotional support. When we got to the village, they were so much cooler and prettier than I expected, I was incredibly nervous the whole time. I had so many questions for them, but couldn't figure out how to vocalize them. Anyways, the sluaghs had retreated into a dark, fey-filled forest. None of them were familiar with navigating the woods, but fortunately, I'm at my most comfortable in dark, spooky woods. As we start to enter the woods, I see some nuglubs in the trees, and there's a pitfall. Before I can warn him, Pomba steps on it and almost falls in. As we're taking out the nuglubs, some twigjacks show up as well. None of them were a very big threat to us. Deeper in, we notice some grimstalkers in the brush telling us to turn back. Despite Sanaa getting poisoned by one of them, they weren't that big of a threat. I guess she wasn't as used to grimstalker poison. We eventually get to the deepest part of the woods and see the sluagh queen and her reapers. There was also some sort of other type of skeletal creature, but its name escapes me right now. It duplicated itself into a few copies. As we moved to meet them, they formed a semi-circle formation around us, with Ereliss and Kyo forming our front lines. Pomba moved up through the sides and joined in. It didn't take long for us to get through their frontlines, though there were some twigjacks that joined in. One of them was really focused on trying to pelt me with splinters, but they felt more like mosquito bites than anything. We eventually got the queen on her own, and we took her down with little effort, although she did try and suck Pomba's soul out. After we took her down, Uchara used a raise dead spell to return Rani's soul to her body. On the way back to the village, we were able to learn more about how to use the starlit magic from the other sentinels. I'm glad we were able to help them reunite, and I'm looking forward to possibly meeting them again someday.
