Mimi is an Associate of the Round Table, and the poppet who emerged to ease Candace's loneliness.
Background
As a poppet, Mimi began existence as a fairly large stuffed doll. In the wake of the Collapse, a young Candace wanted to go out and explore, but the area she and her family lived in had many dangerous things scattered about as debris from battles. Candace was an only child and had no friends, but had an extremely active imagination, picturing what must have happened before her family had settled into this place on their own. It was the spark of creativity and childlike wonder that gave Mimi life, and gave Candace a lifelong friend. In their days together, they would explore and pick up the garbage left behind, and the two girls would make up stories about their home and the thing they found around it. It was this creativity that allowed Mimi to make these stories a sort of reality - leading to her capabilities as a thaumaturge later in life.
Candace grew up and Mimi stayed with her all throughout. When Candace was grown, she had left her home and went on the road with Mimi, continuing to make stories about the things they see and collect. Eventually, she married a man named Jeb, and they too had a daughter, named Diana. With a new child, Mimi felt a new spark, feeling the need to help protect the new life and her family. With the emergence of the newest apocalypse, the family relocated to Onadbyr, where Mimi got a job as an associate to help support her family.
Skills
Mimi's protective nature takes shape through her choices of esoteric implements. Her shield's wooden core is an old child-sized table, once used for tea parties, but now is used to protect those around her. With a blessing from Shelyn, Mimi can help heal any boo-boos, even from as far as 30 feet away. With the thoughts of her family tucked into a small amulet, she can extend her protective urge even to those she works alongside.
However, what Mimi considers her greatest skill is in her appearance and people skills. She prides herself on being able to get on people's good sides just by being cute. But she's not above a white lie or a dozen to get out of trouble...
