A pair of harpies have been terrorizing travelers in the mountains of Onabyr and the Associates are hired to deal with them in whatever way they see fit to remove the threat.

Our small group was hired to eliminate 2 harpies that had been attacking travelers in the mountains. Feravain knew that they were known to pick up and drop people they attacked and they had a terrible stench. The group traveled for a day before reaching the mountains, while discussing what harpies might be capable of and how to deal with them.
Upon arriving the group found themselves at the base of the mountain. Trapper scaled up the cliff and then tied off and dropped down a rope for the other two to follow. Part way up the mountain, Feravain spotted a large human shaped type creature flying east at a high altitude. He warned the others and kept an eye on that direction as Trapper continued his way up. Trapper almost fell at one point but was able to maintain his grip and get to the next level of the mountain.
On the 2nd level Trapper found several large insects that seemed territorial, he avoided them and held a rope to help haul up the other two. The group then engaged the three insects, after killing the first two quickly, the final insect went berserk on trapper and bit him repeatedly while he tried to wrestle it. It was finally dispatched by Arkes.
Upon reaching the top level of the mountain, the party is attacked by swarms of sentient rocks, which were again, quickly dispatched by the party.
Moving north, the party spotted some eagles in a tree, but avoided antagonizing them by skirting around their territory. They then crossed a fast flowing river, with feravain leading the way by jumping over and then holding a rope to assist the others in getting across. Trapper slipped while going across, banging his head and falling into the stream but Arkes was able to haul him the rest of the way across with the rope.
The group finally found the harpy nest. They kept their distance, with Arkes and Feravain sniping one of the harpies from a distance and drawing them out of their nest. The harpies stench did not affect the group and Trapper suplexing the first harpy to reach the group and Feravain proceeded to unload two shots directly into into its skull, instantly killing it. The second harpy, seeking revenge, grabbed Feravain into the air, bit into him and then dropped him, but Arkes was able to do some emergency treatment on Feravain. The Harpy then dived down and tore Feravain up with some vicious attacks, knocking him unconscious. It then almost brought down trapper with equally vicious attacks but he and Arkes were finally able to take it down between the two of them.
Checking the Harpy nest, Trapper kept the eggs to eat on the way home, and the party found some treasure in the nest they collected. It was a short but risky hunt but the party made it home safely.
