A bug bear named Drake reached out to us Associates to rid his new house of some pests. He claimed a house in The Upper Sacks, but it was filled with electric bat creatures. We arrive at the house and, well, let's just say I saw Jeremiah’s Rest in better shape than this place. These electric elementals were all over the place. We started off by sending Odin in as a distraction. They stood in the middle of the room and raised their defenses. Jeremy went to take advantage of the situation but their attempts were as useless as Barbell is when they attempt any task. I have observed these lighting creatures turning themselves into a bolt of electricity and instantly moving to another location that contains any form of metal. This unique ability had almost ended up killing me at the time. I was swarmed by three of the electric bats and swiftly knocked out. Thanks to the will of The Almighty, my life was spared. While I was unconscious, the rest of the team quickly took care of the pests that swarmed me.
The First floor was cleared out, but there was still a basement to take care of. Drake mentioned that someone named “Reggie” was living down there and he wanted to introduce him to us. Turns out Reggie is some sort of floating head fiend, a Doru. They are known to hoard secrets, and even more prone to being bribed by false secrets. I went to approach the keeper of secrets and was ambushed by snake folks. I was on the lookout and was able to dodge back into cover before they could act. Odin, Echostar, and Atticus charged into melee range of all the snake folk since they all had crossbows out. I was able to damage two of the snake folk that stood in a line with the power of The Almighty. Meanwhile, Jeremy tempted the Doru with some of his deepest secrets in exchange for his help. With Reggie’s help, we easily dispatched the creatures that infested the basement.
Nothing else happened besides the bug bear looting the corpses around us.
