A teddy bear poppet requests that associates recover a magical flower.

Gathering to answer a call from the council, Chrys, Bees, Kagari, Illiam, V and myself gathered to meet a very brave and kind poppet who requested aid to help their blighted farm. In transit to the land the poppet Chestnut cared for, the manner in which the farmland could be saved was presented in a hunt for a rather magical flower. In a great but unexpected bit of foresight, Chestnut surprised the group with means to travel to the island the flower was told to grow on. While many were expecting a smaller ship fit for a poppet, what was a presented was a comfortably large vessel to sail down the river. Chestnut made the decision on vessel with care though, as a larger vessel was required to withstand the assault of giant squid that tried to make a snack of the expedition. With coordinated effort, the aquatic beast was repelled along with a savage seal, shark hybrid that hopped on board in the struggle. No further interruptions were had as landfall was made at the incredibly lush island. Pushing into the dense jungle, our group was surrounded by vibrant but peaceful flora and fauna, and it did not take long to eventually come across a stream where the magical flowers were rooted. Surrounding the life-amplifying blooms were a sentient form of giant newts that glittered in all colors of the rainbow. They revered these blooms, but, thanks to negotiations by Chrys and Illiam, a trade of sorts was arranged for one such flower to be recovered for Chestnut's sake. Upon transporting the flower carefully back to the poppet's fields, the party was compensated fairly and returned having successfully aided Chestnut. -Kasumi
