Isabella, Onadbyr's Apothecary, was itching for a greater variety of components she can use in her experiments. Unfortunately, they involved travel to the mountains, which was much too far for her partner Wes, so they enlisted the party’s help. In return, she promised a free first sample. Isabella needed void worm blood, a rarer component, and powdered silverfish. They were given special instructions. They party needed to avoid slashing open the worms so they wouldn’t lose too much of the blood, and they needed to prevent burning the silverfish to avoid ruining their carapace.
The party set off two days to the mountains. Mayel flipped a coin and the party decided to visit the silverfish first. The party approached the cave of the silverfish. Razan prepare’s Satori’s blade with a special poison to help him out. Tremla leads the pack and was spotted right away by one of the silverfish. The silverfish attacked her, dealing a large amount of damage to her. The party fought off the waves of insects bravely, with only Tremla getting knocked out. The party licked their wounds and gathered the silverfish corpses, then set off on their journey to the void worms. Directly outside the cave, vicious, undead, predatory rabbits ambushed the party. Their stench slowed down the party, but not for long. Soon enough, they were taken care of.
The party arrived at the waterfalls where the void worms had been spotted. Ice mostly covered the body of water up on the top of the falls. Three tiny void worms were spotted by the party off in the distance. For the first time on this expedition, the party thought out a plan and ambushed the worms. The party took minimum damage and was able to extract the blood from the void worms.
