We met with the "druid", a ginger haired, red eyed person with a backwards hand. A Rakshasa in disguise, or at least related to one. Her name was Zakh, short for Zakharia I believe they said? They were vague on the details and very suspicious, which bothered Cyrus and Serene considerably. She handed over a scroll of teleportation written in the draconic language, which none of us could use. Rather than let them use the scroll they "found in the dragon's lair" while "disguised as a cow", we instead went back into town and had Satori use it for some reason.
Up on the mountain, we had teleported directly into a snowstorm. Zakh insisted we hide inside a crack in the ice for the night while they change the weather, but none of us were keen on doing that. We headed down the mountain into the forest portion, setting up camp there for the night with the assistance of Cyrus using an anti-scrying spell. During the night watches Serene and I both could hear a thrumming noise in the darkness, but never saw the cause.
The next morning we headed back up into what was now a foggy peak, meeting Zakh along the way. They guided us the rest of the way up, to the mouth of the cave. Cyrus used a scrying spell to look around inside the cave, spotting two adult white dragons beyond the 30 foot wall. We prepared ourselves and scaled the wall by flight or teleportation, with Serene and Cyrus flying ahead of me and drawing the breath attack of the dragon on watch despite the plan being for me to draw their attention instead. That aside it still wasn't a difficult fight, with Cyrus scaring off one while we nearly killed the other. I tried finishing it off, but Serene and Cyrus both demanded I let it go just because it surrendered before death. Cyrus cast some spell called "phantasmal killer" on me in an attempt to slow me down, so apparently they very much wanted these creatures left alive.
Past the wall we found both hordes of the dragons, full of bulky, practical items like fabrics. We also found a key that opened up the doors to what appeared to be dwarven ruins in the back. There were also the cows and the eggs of the dragons, the later of which we left most of behind for the dragons to return for. Past the door we discovered an old wood elf and something called an airship. The dragons had been keeping this old man and his family prisoner to pilot the airship, allowing the dragons to comfortably strike locations much further away than their nest would normally allow. By getting the airship and these people out of here, we could at least limit their strike range and prevent them from having a feasible way to attack Onadbyr again. With the help of Zakh melting the outside entrance to allow the ship out, we were able to load everything except the eggs onto the ship, bringing them back to Onadbyr.
Note: Zakh wrote "Zakh was here" within those ruins many, many years ago in infernal. Why they couldn't go inside is beyond me, but I suspect it was some sort of joke to them. They didn't seem malicious to me, but they seem like a very chaotic creature. Just as bad, in my opinion.
