So we were hired to go into a cave in some guy's basement but he's not just some guy he's a bugbear named Drake Biloko and apparently some guys who live underground are having problems with other guys who live underground so they wanted us to deal with them but I think everyone kind of expected us to just kill them but that didn't feel right to me so we went down to find their home and it turned out I could speak the same language as they could so I convinced them to let me speak to their leader and while they were all on guard maybe because we were all bright and glowy because we couldn't really see in the dark they didn't attack us and Sanaa gave me a drug to make me talk more gooder and I made the case that they should attack the crossroads less and the boss didn't seem too convinced but then we mentioned that we have access to the surface and some of the stronger associates killed some cave worms that lived down here so they decided to put us up in a trial of some kind of combat against a slimey thing that was covered in weapons and shields so we fought it and Sanaa gave me some things to help fight it better (she's nice) and threw some bombs at it but it began to spit out little versions of itself to attack us so I went around attacking it all and it looked like Omen was having a tough time after he did a big magic blast attack so I went to help him but then Sanaa fell over and the others worked to save her and I eventually helped with some healing song I learned but I decided it would be best to just kill the things left over after the big thing died and after we did that we got to go back and the boss seemed impressed with our performance and agreed to a non-aggressive agreement and I told him about Reggie so that maybe they could learn Common and we went back to Drake and on the way it felt like someone was watching us from the caves and Drake was surprised that we let them live and I told him that we got them to agree to allow peaceful travel and he asked for what they offered to trade but I didn't know that there was an expectation of trade whoops!!!!! So Drake paid us and we got to go home because we solved the problem.
