Satori's Devil bargain will be no more! Courtesy of an Interplanar Teleport from a very sick Kali (Please remember to drink your soups!), we landed ourselves... Right in the center of the chaos. I was lucky I was fast enough to buff the party before everything went OFF, because woah boy, it went OFF. I can't believe the kind of teamwork we were pulling off, it was... Almost beautiful to watch, if I weren't so scared for our lives! Hiromi went ahead and made Serene a POWERHOUSE by tricking them into not using fire on us! Zeal charged ahead like the big bad (good?) Hellknight he is, and started swangin' sword and hittin' heavy while I heard Serene just WIDE-BERTH a swing against something comin' at her?
While I dipped in the room, Serene got... BIG MAD. Scared the CRAP outta most of these Devils, it's goddamn impressive.
It took a lot of doing, and a lot MORE scrambling, but we worked amazingly together despite the intense circumstances.
Through the whole fight, I gotta say, I'm wondering how Satori managed to get himself entangled in all this to begin with. Maybe a story over some sake and snacks, next time I need to visit the Oni Camp. Or while we walk back for two weeks since I overshot the return-spell. Really need to get better at teleporting outside the dreamscape.
