So we had to head back to Alice's place to talk about the kid again. She's the girl that's sleeping and won't wake up. First we checked the graves out back to make sure nothing weird happened and found that Jean guy's new grave. Hope nothing weird happens with that, if we're thinking the graves are connected. We also found a sprite hiding in the bushes, apparently looking for the kid. Other than finding out there's a portal to the first world deep in the forest AND a vomiting plant somewhere else deep in the forest, we didn't learn anything cool or useful. The friend in the portal could awaken trees though, so maybe they could awaken the kid if we can't find any other options.
We headed inside though, getting updates from Alice on what's going on. Scary lady, crow lady and Orion checked the kid out again but didn't learn anything new or useful. That Caroline kid has two different eye colors though, which is pretty weird. Anyway, the new plan was to get an alchemy ingredient with less dangerous properties than the fighting plants from last time. Maybe something watery. We went and asked the sprite outside about magic water, and it showed us to a lake nearby.
Two of its friends were oiling up kappas, making them walk on water, then pushing them onto the lake so they'd slide around on it. I knew kappas have magic water on their heads, but like Orion mentioned, they're also animals so they're hard to convince. We needed to steal their brain water. I told Sutton they eat leaves like turtles, so she lured one in with help from scary lady's pet bird and snuck some of its brain water away, which messed it up pretty bad since it couldn't get into the water to refill. Berta and Edel did some weird rope trick swimming stuff and got a second one, then I turned into a shark and pushed a third one over to them. Orion also found out the sprites wanted to lure the girl to the lake to trick her into drowning in it and becoming a "naiad", which is kinda messed up.
Drinking the new shiny blue potion Alice made for us, we woke up to a tea party in that same forest from before. A big turtle with a hat, just like the stuffed animal on the kid's bed, was leading it. There was also a headless version of the girl we killed last time, zombie Jean, kappas and a lot of dogs. Hat turtle said Caroline hadn't been around in a long time, her mom came and got her, then took her back to the castle. I thought that Alice was her mom, but apparently not, they're sisters or something.
Anyway long story short 4 kids had been there. Caroline on day 1, Lyra the headless girl showed up on day 4, Rin some music guy showed up later and fought with Lyra a lot. A girl named Penny was there too, but he barely even remembered her name. She's probably at the castle thing with Caroline and her mom though. He also mentioned a girl named Sasha who was a wizardy nerd like my brother. It's day 26 or whatever now and it wont end because the kid needs to wake up. Rin tried going to the castle once but never made it, we tried too but kept showing up back at the same place. I didn't detect any magic blocking us, just magic on the food and the turtle. Since it was a weird fey dream thing the food was probably bad, but we figured out the turtle was what was holding us back, just like the last guardian! So we took his hat, spilled his tea head juice, then beat him up. Leaving him alive didn't let us keep going, so we had to finish him off. If it's like the headless girl he'll just come back in the next dream though, so I hope he's not mad we stole his hat.
Anyway Alice says their mom went kinda crazy because she's old and she took her sister and left, adopting her later. She's gonna try and find something resembling a castle for us to use to get to the castle, so good luck to her. Also I didn't get to keep the hat, but it did fall off the stuffed animal's head. Too small for me to wear, though.
