Log
There is some scratched out handwriting in Wildsong of exceptional quality at the start of the log, but the rest of the log is written in common in slightly worse handwriting with a lot of spelling errors. It would seem as if Melfyra is more used to writing in wildsong than common.
We got hyred by No Man to go convins a gost to leaf an old garden so she can plant poshun ingreedyents. The plaes had too gardens, won open to the public, and won that was privatly owned. No Man wanted the privat won. Wen we went to chek out the privat garden, we wer ataked by a wirlwind of gardening tools. It mite hav ben a polterguyst of sum sort, but Iza, Keira, and Wrax tok it down befour I had a chans to do anything. We then met Haunted, the garden gnome in charj of the garden. He turnt us away after Iza and Keira insulted him a bit, probablee to trik him into leting us in, we went to chek out the public garden. No Man said she culd maek us poshuns to disguys orselfs as the master of the garden if we fownd enuff clews as to who they wer. We lookt arownd, and fownd out that this plaes was hoem to some gnolls, who went by the naems Knowledge, No Life, No Limp, No Leaves, and No Liver, as wel as the graev of the last garden gnome to watch the public garden, No More. We used the poshuns of Disguise Self and That Guy's Self to take on the forms of the gnolls, and Haunted let us into the privat garden. We then convinsed him we were with a younyun, and got him to leaf withowt giving him the too mileon gp he wanted, and No Man was able to plant in the garden. There is an additional note in Wildsong added here that reads "I think she almost figured out my secret when she mentioned Dr. Acula."
After some confusion about what Melfyra was trying to write here with some of these names, an intern has provided a translation of what they think she was trying to say
We got hired by Gnome Ann to go convince a ghost to leave an old garden so she can plant potion ingredients. The place had two gardens, one open to the public, and one that was privately owned. No Man wanted the private one. When we went to check out the private garden, we were attacked by a whirlwind of gardening tools. It might have been a poltergeist of some sort, but Iza, Keira, and Wrax took it down before I had a chance to do anything. We then met Haunt Ed, the garden gnome in charge of the garden. He turned us away after Iza and Keira insulted him a bit, probably to trick him into letting us in, we went to check out the public garden. Gnome Ann said she could make us potions to disguise ourselves as the master of the garden if we found enough clues as to who they were. We looked around, and found out that this place was home to some gnolls, who went by the names Gnoll Edge, Gnoll Aif, Gnoll Imp, Gnoll Eves, and Gnoll Iver, as well as the grave of the last garden gnome to watch the public garden, Gnome Ore. We used the potions of This Guy's Self and That Guy's Self to take on the forms of the gnolls, and Haunt Ed let us into the private garden. We then convinced him we were with a union, and got him to leave without giving him the two million gp he wanted, and Gnome Ann was able to plant in the garden.
