Returning to the storage area, we had a different plan for today. The council wanted Satori and I to fight the two graveknights and show some newer associates the dangers of bringing cursed items into town. After introductions we also learn of a shard of Groteus also contained in this same area, which is concerning but not the focus of the day's exercise. With Cyrus supervising, Satori gave him a scroll of Invisibility Sphere to hide everyone while we fought. They waited in the doorway, sufficiently far from where we fought to avoid being in range of the frost waves of the graveknights.
Satori apparently gave one a sword, which it used to great effectiveness against him. The other has apparently learned my fighting style, as it dodged most attacks I used and played to my weaknesses very effectively. If not for the assistance of Cyrus, as well as Illiam apparently being called to assist from down the street by ALOT, I very well could have been defeated in this battle. Altogether I think we proved the dangers of these things quite well, though I worry they may become too dangerous to contain if we do not find a solution soon. One of them even spoke common to Satori, and Satori had a separate realization that they can summon phantom steeds. If we're not careful, they could very easily escape while our guard is down. For now they are once again contained, but we should refrain from any other risky displays. They're far from mindless, they're adapting.
