Catching the intern off-guard, this log from Melfyra seems to be written in perfect common. It looks like she's learned how to write in common at some point
We received note of some strange megafauna in a valley some ways away from the city. Something that seemed strange to me was that we were able to walk in the aquatic terrain we encountered, no matter how deep it was. We ran into some amphibious creatures that looked like lizards with big crests grazing on the path. The ones with the biggest crests on them charged at us, as the other ones ran away. Odin and Adyrha tore the ones that stayed to ribbons. We noticed someone screaming, which led us to a girl who goes by the name Qualily getting mauled by a big iguana - she called it a Greater Jagras. She also told us the crested lizards were called Kestodons. We took her back to her camp to recouver from a broken leg. We then saw the Greater Jagras swallow another creature its own size, for comparison, this iguana was big enough that an average person can theoretically get on its back and ride it. Odin charged at it as it ran away. Our friend who grew a tree over all of the corpses from our battles was reluctant to kill it because of how well it grows. We follow it to a nearby cave, where we get ambushed by some of the Lesser Jagras (the lesser Jagras were the roughly the size of Adyrha) that were following it that we quickly finish off. We follow it into the cave and take it down pretty quickly. Odin seemed dissapointed that Dwy killed one of the lesser Jagras that accompanied the Greater Jagras before he was able to. We took back its hide for research, and tell Qualily where the city is. She may end up telling us about more jobs involving similar megafauna in the future.
