A series of excursions into the wilderness to hunt meat for the town.
First Excursion

The group gathers the day before travel to discuss the mission. The Hunter's Guild recently lost a good amount of meat in the larders (see expedition: Infestation).
We travel to a well-known hunting ground thanks to some rangers from the Hunter's Guild, a forest and cave system alongside a creek. We begin some initial foraging before some members find a humanoid looking creature waits in the lake. Roland identifies the creature as a Nixie - an intelligent fey spirit that guards bodies of water.
On the approach for negotiations, Absinthe is ambushed by a large bear. Attacked and grabbed - Roland came to her rescue and a flurry of attacks including arrows and alchemical fire fell the beast. We field dressed it and obtained 7 bulk worth of meat and 6 light bulk of hide.
Negotiations with the Nixie went well. Absinthe, Grandfather, and Kit all knew enough sylvan to converse. The Nixie gave us the approximate location of a few animals in the local area and wished us farewell, friendly as long as we don't disturb the lake.
We forded the river with the help of a fallen rock scouting out the location of nearby rams, one of which was felled by Kit while the others escaped. 4 more bulk of meat from that creature as we field dressed it as well. A short venture south revealed the presumed location of Gnashtooth, the Demon Boar. Doubling back Roland finds a pack of wolves to hunt to top up the weight we can carry. After a fierce fight with Bakus and Roland falling in battle, the wolves are finally subdued. We travel back with 22 Bulk worth of meat in tow.
