-Orion hired us to investigate a rival fortune teller who set up shop outside the walls lately.
-Hogo is very intent on using a really big gun to intimidate them.
-The fortunes are being told for free? That's odd
-The fortune teller is set up in a tent outside town. There are a few customers here already
-There are fancy Everlight Crystals set up, they know how to gather attention
-We're invited inside of the tent. The workers are very polite.
-There's a wait once we get inside. The fortune teller's name is Mazia.
-Anima strikes up a conversation with some of the other patrons. She makes one of the patrons uncomfortable
-One of the workers keeps touching Dendra's hair. Someone also touches my hair too, they really like touching people to reassure them. Sanaa doesn't like being touched
-I talk to the receptionists. They seem very vague when questioned.
-They've been traveling around for a while. Don't really have an interest in staying in one location.
-Hogo asks the other patrons what their wishes are. He makes some of the patrons uncomfortable as well.
-One of the goblins wished to be a star lyre player
-Another group walks in, an oni, a half-elf, a nagaji, and a kitsune. They're taking note of us
-Anima and Hogo talk to them.
-They introduce themselves as Kyo, Ji-Hun, Rani, and Uchara. They're an adventuring party from the Old Country
-Eventually it comes time for us to get our fortunes told. Dendra gets called up first. She wishes to be a famous blacksmith.
-Hogo goes next. He was talking about wishing for gold. He looks particularly jubilant, saying he can't believe how easy it was.
-Anima goes after him. She wished for "all the power I require"
-The other group walks out after Anima goes in. I wonder why
-Sanaa goes next. She also looks happy, she didn't tell me what she wished for though, because I went next!
-I'm brought before Mazia, and she has a setup with Harrow cards. I ask her to make life easier for my sisters in the city. I pull a card from the deck, and get The Big Sky. This means my wish will come true, I'm so glad I went on this job!
-As I return to the lobby, there's a commotion going on outside
-We step outside to see what's going on, and we find a group of people in similar-looking uniforms murdered the person who greeted us as we approached, and they're heading back inside the tent again!
-They start murdering all of the workers, apparently they're all monsters or something? Anima and Hogo join in.
-If they are monsters, I don't want to hurt any of them. This could all be a misunderstanding. The group who started attacking the workers look crazy strong, and I wasn't going to get in their way. I grab LG and run into the corner, trying to stay out of the crossfire
-Apparently they were creatures from the Old Country. The other group dispels the magic on Mazia, revealing her true form. I don't think we're getting our wishes granted after all.
-Turns out, the group that showed up were the group that came in after us wearing costumes. They call themselves Starlit Sentinels
