Niko Barden is an Associate of the Round Table. He's a wanderer at heart, the catfolk never really having known a true home. He prefers the vast emptiness outside the walls of Onadbyr. As such, he can often be found hitching a ride on resupply caravans to outposts, sketching strange things in a notebook he keeps on a chain at his hip - these can be anywhere from simple scenes of dark places, strange symbols, or most consistently, a face of a weathered old man with a pipe in his mouth. Every time he's pictured in this notebook, it's in a fisherman's clothing - and that's the most anyone ever finds out about it before Niko wisens up to their spying. A friendly, outgoing face to most people stationed at the outposts, he seems to know everyone and anyone - but nobody seems to know anything about him, or where he came from...
