So we kept going in the garden, just one more statue/key to find. Headed to the one corner we didn't explore, found a weird ghost gnome thing. It sounded like it was a gardener or something before it died, complained about the garden looks then walked on a plant. The big tree monster showed up and ate it, then weird stuff happened. The others had to wake me up, but the garden was different now. Less dark and foggy. The statue we were gonna fight was already destroyed, so we just grabbed the gold finger key it had and went to the door. On the way there we got attacked by the tree monster again, except this time it was fused with a second one. It was even more dangerous, at the cost of its ability to ignore some of our hits. We just had to kill it faster than before, which we did. Oh, also Sheeri was here instead of Bodrukk now? Dunno how that happened, but it did.
We headed past the four key door, and could hear the tree thing regenerating from somewhere deeper in again. Sheeri, Fen and Orion worked on clearing out the ghosts blocking our way. I ran ahead as the Blightwraith appeared again, finding more statues waiting for us at the top of the stairs. I dipped back to help fight the tree monster, while Sheeri went up and fought with the statues. During the fight the statues stepped on some of the plants that now grew around the double Blightwraith, making it angry too. Letting them fight some, we took out all three before heading up the stairs and further into the garden.
In the big garden was a platform with a statue, a tablet, and three green-ish flames. Orion couldn't read it because of how faded it was, and as Berta walked past one of the braziers it tried to attack. It didn't do anything to her, but apparently there were ghosts Fen and Orion got rid of.
Heading up some stairs, we found a big evil tree. Fen burned it with holy fire, and a ton of ghosts escaped. One stuck around, with a bunch of teeth all over the holes in its cloak body. It threw stuff around and sucked in spirits to hurt us, but I healed Fen and Fen took it out with a big heal over the whole area.
We met Gnome Ann outside afterwards, and she says we came from the wrong direction. Norman Wake also isn't real? I dunno, it was really confusing. Apparently this job didn't even happen, but we still got some good stuff and she gave us potions, so that was cool.
