Pathfinder 2 is a complex game with many moving parts, and it can often be helpful to seek help from outside sources when creating a character, or running a game. Find below a small amount of resources that can help you in Kelek.
Rules Lookup
- https://2e.aonprd.com/ The Archive of Nethys (AoN) is the official site for Pathfinder 2 rules. It is actively maintained, and has all the rules, items, and character options from Paizo.
- https://pf2easy.com/ PF2Easy Tools contains all the same information as the Archives of Nethys, but is designed to quickly look up terms, items, spells, etc. It is often easier to use than AoN, but only if you already know what you're looking for.
- http://builder.pf2easy.com/ PF2Easy Tools also has an encounter builder, this is only useful for storytellers.
- https://www.leitknightgaming.com/loot2 Leit Knight Gaming has a random generator for treasures by level and party size.
- https://i.redd.it/w942ymakoyqa1.png A cheat sheet for actions and activities.
Character Creation
- https://pathbuilder2e.com/ Pathbuilder is the storyteller's preferred smart character sheet. It contains all the first party options, and automatically detects what you do and do not qualify for. It creates a much more curated character creation experience than the Archives of Nethys or using the books. The one downside is that the variant rules that we are using, Proficiency without Level, and Free Archetype, are only in the paid version. The storytellers also can directly import your pathbuilder character to the foundry.
- https://wanderersguide.app/ Wanderer's Guide is another smart character sheet, and it includes our variant rules in the free version. You can also look up other people's builds on here. It does support 3rd party, and is a bit harder to use than Pathbuilder.
- https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1OI3OeCC1fAPFEc45fYnOto1RW4ROS1IAkGFeCPZ2BtU/edit#gid=0 A google sheet listing which item's give skill bonuses. This is mostly a reference for the storytellers to give out treasure.
Youtube Channels
- https://www.youtube.com/@TheRulesLawyerRPG The Rules Lawyer has many explanatory videos and some actual plays, he also discusses industry news.
- https://www.youtube.com/@HowItsPlayed How It's Played is the most straightforward rules explanation in video format.
- https://www.youtube.com/@RollForCombat Roll for Combat is seriously old school, if you want to finally have someone talk about PF2 whose older than you, it's them. They are the creators of the Battlezoo 3rd party content, and frequently feature or interview Paizo employees. They also have a long history of actual plays.
- https://www.youtube.com/@Nonat1s No Nat 1's mostly goes over new Pathfinder 2 options as they come out.
- https://www.youtube.com/@theebadluckgamer The Bad Luck Gamer is a lesser known channel that thoroughly reviews Pathfinder 2 archetypes.
