We enter the area and hear something skittering through the trees. We find a cave tunnel leading into a tomb. There are some zombies that turn out to be just the hands pulling bodies along the floor. They were dispatched very easily and start searching the area. Climbing up the stairs we find a locked door with more sounds of “skittering”. Our plan is to lure them down the stairs and take them out as they funnel down. Lets see if we can even unlock the door.
With the door unlocked there are so many hands around. I hope this works. Evergreen casts a spell on Zokun to help protect him. Femi and Bakus ready their combos and the rest of us ready ourselves for the upcoming fight. Oska is a true hero, fearless and brave. With the battle starting a few go down as they come upon us. Theses hands go down quite easy and the battle was over real quick. We find WHISKY! I make sure to claim a few for the clan then we continue to search.
Sade makes is way down a hallway and ends up sliding down a stair trap. Vreal uses his shield to slide down the newly created ramp and almost hits me. Good thing this isn't the first time I've fallen down the stairs. We open the door and find more hands with a few of them being larger than me! One of the large ones comes up to me and gives me a smack and grabs me. Sade hits some pressure points into the hand and it drops him. As the fight continues I fell and awoke being held by the large hand and Evergreen standing next to me. It seems to be dragging me to the alter in this main room. I'm feeling really sick and I cannot seem to get out of this hand. I try and throw up to make myself feel better and I see Oska aiming at me. I close my eyes and I hear the gunshot. The hand releases me! You are a hero Oska, I knew it. Evergreen Picks up this large hand and I see the fingers wiggling around. The other large hand squishes a swarm of rats and goes after Bakus. We finally down one of the giants hands and gang up on the other one. Evergreen and I notice that this alter is absorbing blood. The large hand starts to drage Bakus to the alter as they are both looking pretty bad. I get rid of the last of the sickness and run up for the kill.
We take a break and start patching each other up. The uninjured start to search around the room and find a chest. The temple seems to be for Urgathoa. We then go further in as we are now patched up. There is a door that doesn't want to be opened. We tried to pick it and break it down, a key will be needed. Party split and started searching. My group found a study with a bunch of scrolls and potions. Meeting back up we split up what we found. No key so far. The walk back home was slow since we were carrying 9 barrels of whisky to share with friends.
