Siltmean is one of the Associates of the Round Table and a traveler from out west. He comes from a small burrow that roamed the more densely packed forests, avoiding predators and surviving off lean conditions whenever necessary. Named Siltmean for a combination of his Oread heritage and how aggressive he was as a child, his coming was heralded as proof the gods, Erastil especially, were approving of their lifestyle. Siltmean would later disprove this in spectacular fashion, offering up a prayer to Desna before setting off for civilization at the age of 27.

Before that, however, Siltmean was the go-to craftrat of the burrow. It was though his ability to work metal, rock and wood that they were able to establish meaningful trade with local settlements, a contingency for if the forests ever became too harrowing for the burrow to live in. Siltmean was no slouch, soon finding a love for metalworking in particular that led to him making proper armor for the surrounding settlements. It was not the work of a professional, but it was sufficient for the work of someone who had never touched the forges prior. All of this work was preplanning, as Siltmean knew from the moment he discovered his love for blacksmithing that this local area was too small to accommodate his talents. He needed to set out for wider pastures, where his work would spread to all corners of the land. And thus, taking to heart rumors of a growing city in the east known as Onadbyr, he set out to find it.

It took him a full year to find the city, somehow, but he did it. With his specially forged sneaking suit, a cheap pistol he could pick up before he left, and the deer-carving knife he never used because of his distaste for carcasses, he was now in the city of dreams, ready to make his own reality.

Little known fact about Siltmean: At birth his fur was silt-colored and flaky, hardening into its current silver appearance once he reached maturity. This is why he was named Siltmean, rather than Silvermean.

Much more well-known fact about Siltmean: He is called a craftrat because his burrow designated themselves to others in such a way to denote what they were good at, avoiding waste of time explaining themselves. He was a Craftrat, his mother was a Sneakrat, his father was a Priestrat. They would call themselves CraftYsoki, but it doesn't work well in the common language.
