There is another sheet of paper attached to the log covered in paw prints. It looks like Adyrha wanted to write a log too.

We received word from Farmer Jenkins that the drakes that gave him problems in the past were acting strangely. Their breeding season has been irregular as of late, and he wanted us to investigate. Our friend who enjoys watching creatures grow found some broken eggshells that looked like they weren't hatched naturally. We make our way to the drake's lair to investigate, and find that the nest did not have any eggs in it. The drakes guarding the nest got really aggressive, so we fought them off. Adyrha ate one of them in one bite somehow. I investigated the eggshells and discovered the tracks of some sort of four-toed creature. We followed its tracks back to Farmer Jenkins' farm, and he was yelling at something to get away. He told us he saw what looked like a plucked chicken bigger than a person, and gave us the direction it headed in. From Adyrha's reactions, it was the same creature we were tracking. We followed it to a crossroads, and it started attacking us. It picked up a rock and used it as a weapon and shield. It had an understanding of tool use, what a fascinating creature! It's too bad we had to kill it, it had some interesting potential as a species. I should gather more information if I ever see another one.
