The party is informed by a Council Assistant named Ari of a gathering of stagnant clouds above a specific area of the forests a few days travel from Onadbyr. The party spends three and a half days of uneventful travel, with Femi providing them with small game, bugs, and berries to eat. They finally come to the edge of the cloud's influence, where everything is bathed in a muted purple hue. Purple lightning crackles around the perimeter, though it causes no thunder. A natural stone bridge that used to bridge the gap between them and the ground beneath the cloud has been destroyed. On the other side of the bridge is a humanoid corpse that seemed to have decayed at an accelerated rate, and what appears to be a giant mound of flesh. Using Femi's ladder to bridge the gap, the party crosses into the gloom, and immediately notice a difference in the air, especially the good-aligned characters, as the area seems to have a negative effect on them. Roland investigates the body and the mound of flesh, and realizes the mound is actually a gas bubble. As he's investigating, a large fleshy paw strikes out at Absinthe. IN PROGRESS
