For every month that passes in real-life, a season passes in Kelek, equivalent to three months or 90 days. Expeditions are not necessarily chronological, but they all take place within the season corresponding to the month they were ran in. The number of Downtime days required by an expedition will be noted on the Expedition Logs page.

For every month that passes in real-life, three months - or a season - pass in the world of Kelek. We keep track of this cycle using a google sheet. Any Expeditions held within a real-life month don't need to be chronological and a timeline is only set in stone at the end of a real-life month.
Submitting Downtime
At the end of every real-life month the calendar is locked in. Until the 7th of the new month you have the opportunity to turn in a Downtime Log if you want to perform Downtime Activities. If Downtime for a character is not submitted by the 7th, it is forfeit.

* The colored bar at the top represents the season and each column group in the sheet represents a month divided into 30 days. Dates are denoted as "day/month/season/year", for example: "21/2/Spring/223"
To submit downtime, follow the steps below.
* Sessions: A Storyteller logs the name of their Expedition here if it fully or partially takes place during that day. Multiple Expeditions can be held on the same day - and a character cannot be in two places at once. If you sign up for a session held on the same day as one a character already participated in, you'll be required to bring a different character if you want to participate.
* Storyteller: The name of the Storyteller who ran the session.
* DT?: This checkbox is green if it is reasonable for a character to have 8 hours of Downtime to pursue crafting, retraining, or any other Downtime activity. Most of the time Expedition days will have this set to red.
* Downtime Activity: This is left blank until a player fills it out. More on that in the Logging Downtime section of this wiki page.

NOTE: You only need to fill out the template for the activities you are using. For example, if a character is only earning income, they would only need to fill out and submit the character information and the Earn Income sections.

3. Post the template(s) in the ticket.

4. A Firekeeper will process your Downtime. They will double check to make sure everything looks correct, and calculate your Earn Income. If any rolls need to be made (such as for Crafting), they will set up a time to witness you rolling them in the FoundryVTT.

5. Add the earned gold to your sheet.

6. Confirm in the ticket once everything has been completed, and a Storyteller will close it.

Downtime Activities
Below are the most common Downtime Activities a character may want to actively pursue. If a Downtime Activity takes multiple days, they do not need to be consecutive. A week is 7 days and a Month is 31 days. Your character is treated as being the level they reached by the end of the current month for all Downtime Activities.

* Note for Summoners: Since Eidolons and Summoners share actions, they cannot perform separate Downtime activities. However, the Eidolon may perform Downtime in lieu of the Summoner, and either may support the other, granting a +1 circumstance bonus to any skill in which they share proficiency. As normal, this cannot modify checks which use Assurance.

Earning Income
Earning Income is the default downtime activity. It is assumed that a character is performing a task at their level, of the skill's proficiency level. The Earn Income table can be found here. The total income is calculated by an equation as if you had rolled using that skill for each of the given amount of days.
* Any items or features that can generally add modifiers to a skill are permitted, such as the item bonus to Intimidation from a Demon Mask, or the circumstance bonus to Crafting nightstands granted by Specialty Crafting.
* Note: Risky Surgery has been ruled to not be added, as it is much riskier on individuals who are not adventurers.

Recovering from Diseases and Treat Disease
If a character during the course of an Expedition contracts a disease, progressive curse, addiction, or other long-term harmful effect it is resolved immediately at the end of the Expedition it occurs in. The character can choose to delay the rolls if they believe they can get assistance from another character in Onadbyr. That character can use Downtime Treating the Disease. A character suffering from a long-term harmful effect loses Downtime as long as they are not healthy. This can be waved by the Storyteller that ran the Expedition if they believe the effect is not debilitating enough to interfere with daily life.

Actively Earning Income
It's assumed for any day you can pursue a Downtime Activity but don't that you Earned an Income with Trained proficiency. Your character may decide they can earn much more by actively earning income, in which case it would follow normal Income Earned table. Remember with the Proficiency without Level variant rule, you subtract the Task Level from the check DC. (e.g. A level 2 character Earning an Income has a DC 16 at Task Level 2. The DC would therefore be 14).

Contributing to a Township Project
Early Downtime Requests
At any given time Onadbyr has several Township Projects active. Many of these projects require skilled hands to assist in their construction. Check the Township-Projects forum channel in the Discord for all actively running Township Projects.
Crafting can be completed at any time by following the process here.

Summoners and Eidolons
To complete another Downtime Activity before the end of the month, open a Ticket in the Discord and explain what you would like to do. A Firekeeper will go through the process with you, and note down the days taken to complete in the #early-downtime-log channel in the Discord.
Summoners and Eidolons are intrinsically linked, but the eidolon's powers are an important part of the summoner class. While an eidolon cannot take a different downtime activity than its summoner, it may take one instead of them, and either party may choose to roll to aid the other.

The Calendar

For every month that passes in real-life, a season passes in Kelek, equivalent to three months or 90 days. Expeditions are not necessarily chronological, but they all take place within the season corresponding to the month they were ran in. The number of Downtime days required by an expedition will be noted on the Expedition Logs page.

Submitting Downtime

At the end of every real-life month the calendar is locked in. Until the 7th of the new month you have the opportunity to turn in a Downtime Log if you want to perform Downtime Activities. If Downtime for a character is not submitted by the 7th, it is forfeit.

To submit downtime, follow the steps below.

1. Create a Ticket in the Discord.

2. For each character, fill out the following template:

Character name:
Character level on last day of month:
Number of days in session: /90
Early downtime logged: /90

**Earn Income**
Number of days earning income: /90

[copy/paste for each feature being retrained]

**Other (recovering from/treating disease, receiving a tattoo, etc)**

[copy/paste if more than one activity]

A week is 7 days and a Month is 30 days. Your character is treated as being the level they reached by the end of the current month for all Downtime Activities.

 • Note for Summoners: Since Eidolons and Summoners share actions, they cannot perform separate Downtime activities.

 • Any items or features that can generally add modifiers to a skill are permitted, such as the item bonus to Intimidation from a Demon Mask, or the circumstance bonus to Crafting nightstands granted by Specialty Crafting.
 • Note: Risky Surgery has been ruled to not be added, as it is much riskier on individuals who are not adventurers.

Craft

For all crafting rules as they pertain to Kelek, see Crafting. Generally speaking, Crafting Items follows Pathfinder 2e and Treasure Vaults crafting rules.

 • If Treasure Vaults changed something in Pathfinder 2e - we use the Treasure Vaults variant.
 • Familiars, Eidolons, and other characters can Aid with Crafting if they possess all requirements to do so. Another character Aiding in crafting must mark the same Downtime on their Downtime Log.

Retrain

Characters are always adapting and can spend time retraining their skills and feats in Onadbyr. The following list is the time it takes to retrain each feature.

 • Skills: 7 days
 • Skill/General Feats: 7 days
 • Class/Archetype Feats: 7 days
 • Ancestry Feats: 7 days unless it is a Lineage feat (cannot be retrained)
 • Spells: 7 days
 • Class Choices: 30 days
 • Dedication Feats: 30 days

You cannot retrain your ancestry, heritage, or class at any point. A Storyteller may also impose a restriction on what else cannot be retrained. (For example, if a character dies to a vampire and is required to take the Vampire Dedication).

This can be waived by the GM that ran the Expedition if they believe the effect is not debilitating enough to interfere with daily life.

Early Downtime Requests

Crafting can be completed at any time by following the process here.

To complete another Downtime Activity before the end of the month, open a Ticket in the Discord and explain what you would like to do. A Firekeeper will go through the process with you, and note down the days taken to complete in the #early-downtime-log channel in the Discord.
