Mission Report: The Church and The Steeple

Day 1 - 1200

Party reported to Elidyr. This mission was to be a follow up on previous attempts to investigate a Church of Urgathoa
Party was informed to not bring any harm to any religious structures or symbols unless harm is brought to us

Day 2 - 1340

Party reached the Church
No signs of undead outside
Party had Cyrus hold onto previously recovered religious iconography and holy symbol.

1400

Upon approaching the door, Party noted the sound of hands crawling away
Once door was open, hands appeared to flee from the corrupt tome in the hands of the Party
Hands retreated inside the offering basin of blood
While discussing next moves, statues in entrance room leak blood, party vacates immediately

1410

Party proceeds up the stairs to revisit what appears was a kitchen
Lights on indicate recent prescence of others
Jail cell in room with undead giant inside

1412

During investigation Cyrus notes the holy symbol pulling toward a desk in the room

1413

Serene takes the symbol and presses it into the desk

1414

The jail cell is opened and the Undead Giant within awakens and prepares to engage the party
The Party successfully finished the encounter

1420

Party proceeded to a door that was previously noted to be locked
Using the holy symbol the door was then opened
A second door exists further down the hall, in which Serene hears something retreating
Attempting to follow after Serene tries to force it open, causing a large Harm spell to go off

1424

Racing after the fleeing individual the party proceeds down stairs to see the Necromancer themselves running
Necromancer throws up a ward farther down the hall

1430

Party proceeds deeper into the Church, entering a new grand hall
Small group of skeletons attack the the party but are quickly defeated

1435

Reaching the ward, Cyrus attempts to unlock it using the Holy Symbol
Cyrus becomes sealed to the ward and a large group of Undead Champions and Undead Guards attack the party

1445

The battle is exceptionally difficult but the party succeeds with heavy wounds
The party recovers multiple items from the undead detailed below
The party takes time to rest and recover before electing to continue farther in the hopes of making more progress

1450

Coming further into the hall the party face one additional group of Undead Guards and Champions
The party is on the brink of defeat
The party is victorious

No other details are included past this point. However a section exists detailing the rewards the party claimed written in very shaky handwriting.
