Eira Illarhi is an Associate of the Round Table often found with her familiar companion, a moth named Phoebe. As a result of her pitborn fiendish heritage, she possesses some spider-like qualities, such as extra vestigial eyes, a light carapace on her limbs, pincer fangs, and natural spider-silk production.
As a Witch, Eira's patron is a Spinner of Threads, allowing her to weave the web of fate itself. But quite frankly, she'd much rather immerse herself in books and learn about magic in its myriad forms, than worry about the infinite possible deaths that could befall her and every other being in the world at any given moment. She left her home settlement and made her way to Onadbyr to search for a way to distance herself from her fate, hopefully while helping people along the way.
Her familiar, Phoebe, is a giant silk moth about the size of a guinea pig, and is docile and curious by nature. As silk moths do not naturally live very long, Phoebe has the ability to create a sort of rejuvenating cocoon, and in the process producing silk in the same manner a regular moth like her might. That being said...there's been a few Phoebes already, but Eira's patron will keep supplying them as long as it continues to grant her power. Eira is pretty sure each Phoebe retains the past ones' memories, but with a creature like her, it's hard to tell.
Finding much similarity in her own plight as someone once forced into weaving the future, Eira has found some solace in her belief in Grandmother Spider. However, she is very private about her faith and sees it as more of a kinship than true devoutness. She's seen what such devotion of a being did to her home...surely the Weaver herself would understand?
Eira is quiet and rather timid, but far from aloof. She simply enjoys serene spaces so that she may work more diligently, but company has never been unwelcome by her. She is always ready to lend a helping hand, should her skills be needed. As she is rather unexperienced in combat, Eira and Phoebe often work as one to take on a supportive role so that her fellows can do the heavy hitting instead.
