A fight in Lancaster with Ghouls, Ghasts, and all sorts of various zombles. Femi, Miles, and Kali were all fantastic in the fights. Kasumi and I were racing each other to keep everyone alive, and Siltmean was being pro on his shooty pew... The thing.. GUN. Gods, those are loud.
Paralysis is no joke though, poor Bakus was just frozen there in the middle of the hoard while we trying to pick 'em off. Slowed and sickened, lots of us were feeling stacks of effects from just BEING in this deathpit. Don't like it here. Probably have to go back eventually. STILL no clue how we survived that mess but we overturned the hoard.
Entering the store was an... Interesting event. Lots of random crap all about the place, the books took my interest, until I heard a metallic clanging. Siltmean had been scooped up by a trap! After a bit of jostling, we got him out. Turn around, and I suppose Kali and Miles had fallen through a false-floor. Fantastic.
This place just gets better and better. Tons of skulls tried to chomp 'em up and scream at us at the bottom of the magical trap, but we sufficiently beat the shit out of them in response to such rudeness. Throwing pots seemed effective. Flying about 30 feet off the damn ground somehow didn't, but it was nice to get some time in the air, despite the jumping reach some of these skulls had. Kali... Cannonballed into the pit of skulls and obliterated that shit. I'm nothing short of impressed, she's a powerhouse. Siltmean scrubbed off the magical runes that were projecting the fake floor we jumped through, and even the ones silencing the area! After a quick inspection of the pit, we noticed more illusion magic in a storage room. Given, the only reason we noticed is that Kali n' I were up on my flyin' pole, 'cause the door seemed to be at about where the false floor projected itself. Her magical deduction skills are damn impressive, she scrubbed off the runes hiding some pretty helpful loot! I'm sure we woulda gone back empty handed otherwise.
