There are three types of shops to be found in the Foundry. NPC shops, Player shops, and Retired Character shops. A list of all current shops can be found on the Shops page.

Any time in-between Expeditions your character can purchase items from shops in Onadbyr. To find a shop:
1. Navigate to the Actors tab.
2. Open the Marketplace folder.
3. Click a shop to access its interface. You can freely purchase items here.

NPC Shops

These shops are ran by NPCs, and thus their inventories will typically remain unchanging. Exceptions are Rocco's Pawn Shop and The Caravansary.

  • The Apothecary is the place to go for healing items, medical supplies and potions. An essential for any Associate interested in the survival of themselves and their allies, as well as those interested in alchemy.
  • The Hunter's Guild is your one-stop-shop for traps and snares, ranging from alarms to spikes to explosives. They're also one of two places to pick up rations for the road, which is a must for the average Associate.
  • Got too many items you have no use for? Rocco's Pawn Shop is the place to go to off-load whatever you don't want anymore. They buy your items at half price and sell them back to the public at full price, but this also means you're likely to find a wide variety of items Associates have found on Expeditions, which you wouldn't find elsewhere. Be sure to check back often, that item you want could show up one day and be gone the next!
  • If you need means to defend yourself, Sibling Smithy should be the first place you look. weapons, shields, armor and runes, any Associate can find something of use to them here.
  • Smoke and Powder is your destination if gunpowder is your game. They're the experts in firearms, even if it uses air cartridges. They're also the only place to find your average firearm and the ammunition needed.
  • The Stables is where you go if you're looking for a riding companion, and where you keep one if you've got one. They also carry everything you need to feed and ride your choice of mount, including a battle saddle.
  • The Caravansary is an oft-changing shop. It will show up carrying goods and at some point depart, soon to return with a different arrangement of goods. Items here are extremely limited and may not be there next time you look, so be quick in grabbing what you need! Keep an eye on the server announcement tab in the discord, that's the first place you'll see an announcement regarding the caravan's stock updating.
  • The Well Worn Spine is both a bookstore and a general store. Any supplies you couldn't find at another store, you're likely to find here. Tents, books, writing materials, even thieves tools and soaps can be found in this location.

Player Shops

Using Karma a player character can create their own shop in the Foundry to sell whatever they wish to sell. These are typically items the character has taken the time to craft, and thus the store is a way to hopefully make some gold for their efforts. The process to open a new character shop can be found on the Player Shops page.

Retired Character Shops

Retired Character shops are purchased with Karma, but have a stable, limited inventory. Players can either convert their existing shop into a Retired Character shop, or use Karma to purchase one. The process and guidelines for a Retired Character shop can be found on the Player Shops page.
