The Party kills some regular and some mutated animals.
Mission Log
The party is sent out to thin out predators, but warned that the last party sent out to do so encountered altered wolves. Some unnatural force, but the city had not yet determined what could make them that way.
Half an hour away from the edges of the city, the party finds a bear corpse in a clearing. Investigating it, Hiromi and Cyrus determine it was killed by another carnivore at least as big as it, and its bones were broken as it was killed.
As the party discusses what to do next, 2 vultures emerge from a nearby tree and attack. They are driven off quite easily, and Sade and Cyrus manage to scavange a decent meal out of the 1 vulture that was killed, and pluck an okay amount of feathers.
After that, The group follows the obvious tracks for about another hour, eventually coming close to anothe clearing, and hearing the clear sounds of wolves ahead.
The party attempts to sneak around the wolves, but grist startles them, and they attack. They are swiftly delt with and begin to flee, but the survivor runs into mutated Bears which kill it and then attack the party.
Thankfully, minimal damage is done to the party outside of Grist. With that done, Cyrus harvests meat, from the wolves, and opens up a bear just to check. While the bears have clearly been greatly altered, with duplicate organs and clear changes and growths, its difficult to tell.
Bright eyes attempts to harvest pelts from them, and gets 2. The party returns to town with a decent amount of meat and a full bear.
