It was a pretty weird job, gotta say. We traveled with this halfling guy on a cart to the big bear spot, Mutt writes some weird message to a zealous licker beforehand, and the purple guy offers marrow to us. Apparently his version his cards and it was supposed to predict the future or something, but he kept pulling the same card so I'm kinda skeptical. Also our fish got stolen during the night without any tracks, so I'm pretty sure we have ghost bears? Didn't find any though. Mutt dug a hole and we all worked on breaking through a thick rock wall. Mantella and I jumped in and started investigating while the rest figured out a way down, with me spotting a purple fungus thing near a big statue. The big statue came alive and attacked us, and was pretty hard to hurt until its armor broke. The fungus burned easy, at least.
Up ahead we could see some "Grothluts", weird slug things that made weird noises, vomited on you, and blew up when they died. We fought a bunch of them, healed up, then fought some more AND big armors. It got pretty ugly, but I saved Mutt's life AND licked one of the grothluts unconscious. They taste like sweat and rot, by the way. We found lots of magic stuff, though most of it wasn't stuff I was interested in. I can make a big fire holy sword though, so that's pretty cool.
