Log

We've been hired out to clear out a dungeon temple to Urgathoa, some lord wants the loot inside and everyone else he's sent never came back for some reason. When we arrived at the place, a bunch of undead stood in our way. Sahona blasted a ton of the lesser ones away with a blast of the sun, while Kirrily and I took out the more dangerous one. I think that one gave me a cold or something, but I shrugged it off a few days later. The main chamber was clear but as Clam was looking around he found a bald headed freak and Kirrily was very excited to try and kill it. That ended up being a recurring theme with Clam, running in to find something before the rest of us, and then we play catch up as Clam. We took out the creature and then found a few more of its kind. There were also some things to be found in the corridors, not just enemies. One of the corridors has a shadowy creature instead of a vampire, and another has a drake skeleton, which Kirrily and Clam are able to dispose of. With the area seemingly clear of hostiles, we started to look around.

Mantella began fiddling with the door, which had some claw-shaped indent in the center and a bunch of animal shapes arranged in a circle, so we needed to find a claw like key and find the right pattern. The drake skeleton guarded the claw, so we had that down pretty easily. One corridor had a talking skull carving, and after we fed it some bones it told Kirrily she was 'clever like a fox'. Another corridor had some cups filled with some liquid that I couldn't quite make out in the dark yet, so I left them there. Sahona examined a pile of gold and found a piece that had a moth drawing on it. Clam found a clue on a statue that the gold cup was for fools, so Sahona lit me up with some light so we could see color, one of the cups was gold and they were all filled with blood. I picked up the two silver goblets and poured out their contents, and one of them had an image of a dragon. These animals corresponded with images on the stone door, so Mantella arranged them and then the door was unlocked revealing... a waffle iron?

Behind us, a zombie dragon formed from the remaining bits that were left behind, and Mantella froze it in place long enough for us to get in position. We got some magical assistance, and it tried to use its breath weapon on us (only hurting Sahona). Kirrily and Clam were able to pretty easily take it down, so with that we went on our way to give this nobleman his cooking utensil. He gives us an exact gold amount for this supposedly mithral item, and we head back. That cold I picked up got a bit worse off, but I shrugged it off before getting back home.
