Pettyport serves as another hub of activity, much smaller than the interior of Onadbyr - those that live in Pettyport consider themselves a separate village than a district of the town itself. About 150 people live in the region outside the walls of Onadbyr and serve as the main artery for trade and travel to the south.
Economy
Fishing Industry
Pettyport has a significant fishing industry with three main companies in charge of exports; Timberton, Burrless, and Pinkpoint. The lake that Onadbyr is built on is one of the best locations in the region and sees much of its fish exported to villages in the surrounding area and into Onadbyr itself.
Weathermans Musk Inn
The inn is run by a man only known as The Weatherman and is the main rest stop for caravans travelling into Onadbyr from the south. The Weatherman has been noted to have a distaste for big industry and prefers buying his wares from independent sellers.
During the Expedition "The Halfling", an unknown creature took the form of an innkeeper within the Weathermans Musk and lured a group of associates to its cellar. The attack was unsuccessful and the creature fled, a day later The Weatherman was found bound and gagged in one of the inn rooms' closets. Business returned to normal shortly afterwards.
Culture
Troutsman Trophy
The Troutsman Trophy are a collection of flexing trout statues that are worn on the shoulder much like pauldrons. Anyone wearing a Troutsman Trophy is subject to impromptu challenge by anyone and everyone. Combat is always unarmed and continues until surrender or incapacitation. The winner of the bout claims the Troutsman Trophy for themselves and the cycle continues. The tradition was started by a mysterious fisherman known as the Grand Trout who distributes the statues regularly as travelers and adventurers take them out of Pettyport.
Fishing Competition
Every summer the three companies of Pettyport host a fishing competition during a migration of pink fish. Whoever catches the largest wins during this full day competition!
